Why should I consider supporting SECA?
SECA is the only organization that is legally empowered to relay our collective community concerns to all levels of government. There are approximately 850 homes in Shuswap Lake Estates, making it the largest single community in the CSRD’s Area C with roughly 18 percent of the estimated 4,850 homes in the entire area. This year, Area C has $2.25 billion in assessed residential property. So 18% of that number is $400 million in assessed residential property values! A conservative estimate is that SLE residents will pay $1.3 million in property taxes this year. Are we getting our money’s worth? SECA is committed to ensuring we are.

Your annual $10 household membership goes a long way in supporting SECA. Please fill out and clip the form below, and mail it to us, along with a cheque for $10. You can also help us by getting involved. At the very least, let us know what you think of our priorities, and tell us what you think can be done to improve all of our lives here at Shuswap Lake Estates. It’s a great place to live.
